Rev. Mary Washington has agreed to be the speaker for the morning service which begins at 10:45. Rev. Washington is the former first lady of Leach and has accepted the calling to the ministry. She is the widow to the late Rev. Clinton L. Washington and the mother to Shannon and Christopher. She is spirited filled, humble and a great speaker. Leach is honored to have her serve as a former first lady. She served as our morning speaker last year and we wanted to have her back another year. Rev. Washington is a local preacher at Pleasant Hill CME Church in College Station. Her daughter, Shannon attends college at Lane College in Jackson, TN and Chris, "The Bishop",is a musician at Leach on 2nd and 4th Sundays. His anointing on the drums brings spirituality and worship to the morning service.

Our Afternoon Speaker, Rev. Jesse Brown is an Ordained Deacon, Elder in Full Connection with the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. He is a graduate of Mildred Jackson High School in Hughes, Arkansas with Thirty-Seven years as a pastor. He is married to Mrs. Cora Brown for 33 years, and they have one daughter and two grandchildren. He has been the pastor at Taylor's Chapel C.M.E. Church in Forrest City, Arkansas for the past twenty-four years. Accompanying Rev. Brown will be his sanctuary and men choirs.
